Welcome!

A warm welcome to my brand new blog for the @ToTheStations journey! I hope you like what you find here, although please bear in mind that I've never done anything like this before so any feedback - positive or constructive - will be taken on board.

As you may have seen, I've been out and about in recent weeks and have carried out a few test runs to check for a number of things. Some of the things I've been considering include whether sufficient time has been allowed in my plans to enable me to properly explore the station and the immediate surroundings, whether the camera lenses that I have can adequately capture the scenes that I want to share, and whether the content within my social media posts at each station is suitable.

I have learned from those first trips though and now feel ready to start this journey for real. I'm under no illusions though - it's going to take me many, many years (probably decades!) to complete this but I genuinely do enjoy exploring new places, and hope to be able to share some of my experiences and findings with you!
